ARI Featured on ACEs Too High
The Alaska Resilience Initiative was recently featured in a news article by the ACEs Too High News network – a great honor that highlights our efforts statewide. Journalist Andee Hochman discussed the May 2016 meeting that the Alaska Resilience Initiative hosted in partnership with First Alaskans Institute and the Chickaloon Village Traditional Council that helped to center Alaska Native and Native American perspectives in this work. Hochman then discussed partnerships, processes, and hopes for the ARI program, including: inclusivity, healing, and growth in services for children with adverse experiences.
